We’ve been breaking down taboos that limit condom use since our founding. That commitment lives on today and led to one of our proudest innovations in 2017 – the launch of MyONE® Custom Fit®, our condom line offering 52 custom fit sizes. It’s a groundbreaking solution that addresses users’ top complaint about condoms – poor fit. While we’ve been passionate about engaging consumers, we were missing an all-in-one resource that allows public health educators to easily “show and tell” the fundamentals of condom fit. As we usher in 2026 and National Condom Month this February, we’re thrilled to introduce our new MyONE® Demonstration Kit.
Before we get to the what, however, it’s important to talk about the why. We can all understand that one shoe size or one clothing size wouldn’t comfortably fit every wearer, yet we mostly assume standard condoms will fit everyone. We shouldn’t! Standard condoms certainly work for many; but for many others, they don’t fit properly at all. Standard condoms can only stretch so far for certain users, while others may need a snugger fit to avoid condom slippage.
Consider these findings from an Indiana University study:
- Standard condoms are too long for 91% of users.
- Standard condoms are too tight for 50% of users.
- Standard condoms are too loose for 30% of users.
When condoms fit properly and work as intended, people are more likely to use them. Now let’s explore more on proper condom fit.
Many condom users struggle with common condom fit challenges.
The two key components for proper condom fit are length and girth. When either of those is the wrong measure for a condom user, it can result in some common condom fit challenges highlighted below and in this educational poster.

- Condom is too long: Too much extra condom length can result in a thicker ring of latex choking the base of the penis or the condom hanging off at the tip.
- Condom is too short: Not enough condom length leaves the base of the penis unprotected from sexually transmitted infections (STIs).
- Condom is too loose: Too much extra condom width can cause slippage.
- Condom is too tight: Not enough condom width can lead to uncomfortable constriction, a painful tight ring at the base of the penis, and erection loss.
A condom that fits properly is crucial for both comfort and confidence. Condom fit issues that may cause condoms to break or slip off put people at higher risk of STI transmissions and unintended pregnancies.
Unlike standard condoms, MyONE® offers 52 unique custom fit sizes.
MyONE® Custom Fit® is a comprehensive solution for a perfect condom fit. MyONE® has 10 length options and 9 girth options for a total of 52 custom size combinations. This includes sizes snugger and larger than any other condom brand. The 10 length options range from 4.7 to 9.3 inches, and the 9 girth options range from Super Snug to Super Wide (45mm to 64mm nominal width).

A proper condom length is when the condom is long enough to cover from the base of the penis to the tip – but not so long that the condom hangs off at the tip or bunches at the base. A proper condom girth is when the condom is slightly tighter in circumference than the penis girth, which helps ensure the condom will stay on – but the condom should not be so tight that it causes discomfort or erection loss. The MyONE® measuring tools, including the FitKit®, will recommend a FitCode (size code) based on our formula for ideal fit. The FitCode combines a Girth Number Code and a Length Letter Code. People can then order a free sample kit (just pay shipping) to try before they buy.
It’s been eight years since we expanded the safer sex toolkit with this innovative consumer solution, but the conversation is still fairly limited in the public health space. We recognize that educators lack a convenient resource to tackle this topic, and we now have just what you need!
Introducing the new MyONE® Demonstration Kit for sexual health educators.

When condoms fit well, people are more likely to use them! That’s the objective at the heart of this advocacy resource for educators. The MyONE® Demonstation Kit is an all-in-one tool that contains the facts, materials, and instructions you need to easily communicate about the fundamentals of condom fit and educate your community.
The MyONE® Demonstration Kit includes:
- Lesson Plan: A booklet that guides you on how to use the materials in the kit to host a condom fit lesson.
- Infographic Chart: One side shows common condom fit challenges and the other side shows the range of penis girths and lengths.
- Three Demonstrators: A Snug size, Classic size and Large size.
- Condoms: 20 x MyONE® 47C condoms to match the Snug Demonstrator, 20 x MyONE® 53F condoms to match the Classic Demonstrator, 20 x MyONE® 64K condoms to match the Large Demonstrator, and 20 x standard condoms (Atlas®) to demonstrate standard condom fit.
- 100 FitKit® measuring tools.
